Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Kingdom Car Rental. These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our services and website. By booking a car or using our website, you agree to comply with the following terms as outlined below. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not proceed with any booking or vehicle use.

1. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
  • Rental charges must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • We accept cash, debit/credit cards, or secure online payments. No checks are accepted.
  • Prices quoted include VAT and standard insurance but exclude Salik, traffic fines, and fuel charges.

2. Rental Eligibility

  • Drivers must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 1 year.
  • UAE residents must present a valid UAE driver’s license and Emirates ID.
  • Tourists must present a valid international driving permit (IDP) and passport.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to individuals who do not meet legal or company eligibility criteria.

3. Security Deposit

  • Most vehicles require a refundable security deposit, unless the booking is specifically for a no-deposit rental offer.
  • Deposits are typically refunded within 7 to 14 working days after vehicle return, subject to no fines or damage.

4. Delivery & Collection

  • We offer free delivery and pickup within Dubai city limits, subject to timing and location availability.
  • Airport delivery/pickup is available at an additional charge.
  • Customers must inspect the vehicle upon delivery and report any damage immediately before driving.

5. Vehicle Use & Restrictions

  • Vehicles must be used only within the UAE and are strictly prohibited from being driven off-road or outside the country (e.g. Oman).
  • Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is strictly prohibited and subject to legal penalties.
  • Vehicles must be returned in the same condition with the same fuel level provided at the start.

6. Fines, Tolls & Violations

  • All Salik toll charges (AED 5 per gate), traffic fines, and parking violations incurred during the rental period are the customer’s responsibility.
  • Any fines reported after vehicle return will be deducted from the deposit or billed separately.

7. Accidents & Breakdowns

  • In the event of an accident, the customer must immediately call the police and obtain an official report.
  • Do not move the vehicle unless instructed by authorities and contact our team right away.
  • If the vehicle breaks down due to mechanical failure (not driver error), we will provide a replacement vehicle whenever possible.

8. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before scheduled delivery. Cancellations made less than 24 hours may be subject to charges.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7 business days through the original payment method.

9. Privacy & Data

All personal data provided is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UAE data protection laws. We do not share your information without your consent, except as required by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to offer safe and reliable vehicles, Kingdom Car Rental is not liable for indirect losses, delays, or damages incurred due to mechanical failure, road conditions, or third-party actions. Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the rental fee paid.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Dubai courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

Kingdom Car Rental reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective once posted on our website.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review the terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any updates constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

By confirming a booking, signing a rental agreement, or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.
